How To Lock Whats App , Photos, And any Individual Apps On iPhone aunch the Shortcuts app. At the bottom menu, tap on "Automation." In the upper-right corner, tap the plus sign to create a personal automation. You'll be presented with a list of preset automation options. Scroll down and select "App." Make sure to only tick the "Is Opened" box, not both. Next, tap on "Choose" in front of "App." A list of all your apps will appear. Scroll through and select the apps you wish to lock, such as private apps like Instagram, Photos, and WhatsApp. Once you've made your selections, tap "Done" in the top-right corner. Now, click "Next." An "Add Action" menu will appear, allowing you to specify what action to take when the selected apps are opened. In the search bar, type "Lock Screen" and choose this action. Crucially, make sure to turn off the toggle switch in front of it before proceeding. This step is vital. That's it! Your setup is complete. Return to your Home Screen and attempt to open the apps you've chosen to lock. As soon as you try to open these apps, the screen will immediately lock. To access them again, you'll need to use Face ID or enter your password. Feel free to test this by attempting to open the locked apps multiple times – you'll notice they lock instantly.
