Sampling of high-potency products can be safely performed using a double-bag containment system. In this setup, the sampling valve is connected to an active plastic bag, while a passive bag containing the sample bottle is brought into position. Both bags are securely zipped together, creating a closed, contamination-free interface. This configuration allows the operator to screw the bottle onto the valve from within the enclosed environment, perform the sampling operation, then seal the bottle—all without any exposure to the product. Once the bottle is closed, the two bags can be unzipped and separated, enabling safe transfer of the sample to the laboratory while maintaining full containment throughout the process.
