All Time Track Record on VIR Grand Course by Kaizen Autosport Team

The Grand Rush Challenge Time Attack event presented by Kaizen Autosport held on March 2nd 2020 at VIR on the Grand Course featured some amazing street and track cars. Kaizen Autosport entered a Radical SR8 driven by Peter Heffring. His goal was to beat his previous track record which he set late last year. He succeeded in doing so with a staggering 2:32.2 on VIR's Grand Course! The lap in video is a 2:32.6 which from previous session in day as the 2:32.2 was unfortunately not captured on video. You can see in this lap at the 1:25 mark that our car had to navigate pass a Ferrari 488 GTB and Peter lost about a second, so this lap could have been in 2:31's. More to come as we will attempt to further reduce the lap record in May 2020.
