Title Title: Psychedelics on the Edge: Experiences in Difficult to Treat Depression Dr. Scott Aaronson, Chief Science Officer, Institute for Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics; Psychiatrist, The Retreat at Sheppard Pratt, is a thought leader in the areas of biological psychiatry, diagnosis, and the integration of somatic and psychological therapies. He is an adjunct professor of psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, distinguished life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and is a fellow of the American College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Aaronson also serves on the boards of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology and the Clinical TMS Society. At the end of this session, attendees will be able to: Identify three potential illness targets for psychedelic therapy Discuss three characteristics of good psychedelic therapy participants Recognize three areas of current investigation pertaining to the delivery of psychedelic therapy.
