Have you ever wondered if other people are getting paid to take care of a family member and how you can do it too? It's one of the most common questions that I hear from family caregivers. I'm not quite sure why getting paid to care for a family member has been such a secret. Especially when it's become a known phenomena that adults are leaving the workforce to take care of their aging parents and it's taking a hit on their pocketbooks, big time! So, it's my goal to show you how to get paid by the state for taking care of someone, especially your aging parent, and to also answer the question "will the VA pay me to take care of my parent?". Oh, yes, and there are also other methods to getting paid to care for elderly parents, and I'll cover those in this video too. You may have taken on the responsibility of caregiving without the thought of ever getting paid to take care of your parents. That's common and admirable!
