It's hard to believe that ten years have gone by since I played with The Time Travelers at Shooters to record our cover of Santana's song "Smooth". We were in our prime and our frontman. Mr Tom Holmes, was on fire. He hit every note with such compassion that you couldn't help but to smile thinking that you were actually in a legitimate band that drew followers, it was very cool. Clay Hancock had just replaced me on bass guitar and I bought a new Martin guitar. Smooth was the very first acoustic song that I played with the band. While it has taken a decade to share, it feels like just yesterday that I got to witness front and center, Tom Holmes incredible vocals.
