A trip to Spiti valley is full of wonders and surprises starting from the gorgeous views of the Himalayan ranges to the astounding beauty of the valley and the zig zag rivers. The journey infact is a destination in itself. In this video we traveled from Tabo to Dhankarin Spiti valley. On the way we faced some dangerous roads with rocks falling from above, though a bit worrying but at the same time it was an adventure. Dhankar village is above 12000 feet altitude with a very sparse population. The Dhankar monastery cum fort is one of the oldest monasteries in Spiti region which was once also the residence of the Spiti kings. Infact Dhankar was once the capital of the entire Spiti region.
