Disruptive technologies, need disruptive approach! Here is a fun explainer video that introduces fermentation-based proteins to a broad audience. The video follows a playful 'spy movie' storyline in which a fermentation professor is kidnapped for his secret recipes. A wannabe James Bond rushes in to save him, and along the way viewers get a playful look at fermentation fundamentals, protein functionalities and the enormous potential for Europe. We aimed to produce a light-hearted, engaging video to get our core message across: Europe has the feedstocks, the knowledge, and the infrastructure to lead the fermentation revolution!
