Cycling Germany Alps Landeck - Sölden 02 09 2020

Left today at 9am. Made good use of the amenities such as kettle, charging points and covered place to eat. A girl from Freiburg is standing next to me. She has been very cold, of course with a yoga mat. My thermarest was wonderfully warm. It is her first journey and crosses the Reschenpass. I follow some quiet cycle paths towards Imst. Fortunately it is dry. After Imst I have to climb again. Here I follow the Ötztal Radweg which differs slightly from the planned route. It is a bit busier with cyclists. Now many mountain bikers. Also a couple with one cart that catches up with an emergency trip in the climb. I catch up with them on the flat because then the support is off. Occasionally there are steep parts but also long flat parts. As I get closer to Sölden it gets easier. Garmin sends me over the main road for a moment and then the rest is over. Lots of freight traffic and cars. It is half past three when I arrive at the campsite. This time the price is just 24 euros. The facilities are fine. We've been here before. I am at the top of position 85 with a nice view of the valley. Total 75 km and 1025 m height difference.
