This is a pivotal moment: institutional leaders, faculty, students, and alumni are being tested – and how we respond right now will shape the future of academic freedom and democracy itself. In this call, Stand for Campus Freedom convenes legal experts and alumni leaders to break down the latest developments in response to the so-called “Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education,” discuss MIT’s rejection of it, outline next steps, and share meaningful actions we all can take in support of our campus communities.
