Applying stripes and graphics to a 3rd Gen Camaro IROC-Z - IROC-Z Barn Find Episode 110 Now that the paint work is complete and the bumpers have been installed, it is time to apply the stripes. I have a kit to put stripes around the entire car, but today I will be applying them only to the bumpers. I haven't used this type of graphic kit before, so I do a little testing on a sample. I wanted to understand the method where you spray a liquid to the car and stripe to temporarily desensitize the adhesive to assist in positioning or repositioning the new stripe. The original owner passed away and his father sold the car to me. It had just over 101,000 miles with virtually no rust on the body, very unusual for spending its life in Michigan. This series starts at the beginning and runs through what it has taken to make this car run again. It will continue as I work through continuing to make the car road worthy and bring it back to its former glory.
