Pulpit Rock & Bushrangers Cave - Mt Victoria - Blue Mountains - 4K

In this video we visit two of Mt Victorias natural attractions, the first being Pulpit Rock (Yes, Blackheath has a Pulpit Rock too), this is a short 2 minute walk from where you can park your car to some very commanding views over the Kanimbla Valley. Very much worth the short walk and you can catch some spectacular sunsets from here as well. The second location is the mysterious Bushrangers Cave, which is partway down the Little Zig Zag track. Bushrangers Cave was originally known as Kanimbla Caves, as far as we can tell, there is no actual evidence that this cave was ever used by a bushranger, but, it aids an air of mystery and romance to it. If you do intend to explore the cave, be ready to scramble, get dirty and for complete darkness, depending on how deep you go. Walking down the Little Zig Zag is not hard, but it is steep and slippery in places, the original sign to the cave is gone and only 2 posts remain, our video shows you where to leave the Zig Zag. Once you scramble up into the cave, anyone can explore the darkness to the left of the rickety ladder, it is pretty flat unless you scramble up into the back sections. The part of the cave up the ladder, yes, will need a torch, you might get dirty and be prepared to squeeze into some narrow tunnels, eventually it does run out though and you will need to return to the light once again.
