Troopers Eric Kjekstad and Frank Melillo were the responding Florida State Troopers to a checkpoint set up by the CCSO at Fort Island. Mr. Greenough was tracked using a GPS device that was placed in his bag by the bank teller who was robbed at gunpoint by the suspect.
