Hi Walkers! It’s 19 degrees Celsius with constant light winds. This Floral Night walk is all about Belgravia, the quintessentially elegant neighbourhood. It’s certain to absorb you with feelings of serenity . With views of architectural splendour and floral delights this walking tour is sure to surprise you. Discover the residential Belgravia, with its hidden away passages and mews. Very cosy, immaculate and picturesque, it’s sure to leave you with a sense of contentment. The floral arrangements In particular on this walking tour are the main event on show and an Appreciation of the start of summer by Chelsea in bloom. Chelsea’s prestigious annual floral art show and London’s largest free-to-attend festival of flowers. 2023’s theme is ‘Flowers on Film, taking inspiration from the characters and storylines that have graced the big screen, famed cinematic awards and the neighbourhood’s silver screen heritage. Produced by Cadogan in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), the annual competition continues to grow year on year, with Chelsea’s best retailers, restaurants and hotels adorning themselves with creative designs, competing for the coveted awards. Along side Chelsea in bloom we have Belgravia in bloom in partnership with the London Wildlife Trust. Belgravia in Bloom is more compact than Chelsea in Bloom, taking place across Eccleston Yards, Eccleston Street, Ebury Street, Elizabeth Street and — slightly more out of the way — West Halkin Street and Motcomb Street. Returning for its eighth year with an Into the Wild theme. In this tour you see Belgravia come alive with incredible floral installations and displays depicting creatures of all sizes: think majestic tigers, colourful butterflies, proud peacocks and so much more! Belgravia’s shops and restaurants are blooming with the floral-theme,taking inspiration from the ‘Into the Wild’ theme! I search out these gorgeous street displays hidden away as an exciting treasure trail in the different locations of Belgravia. Local shops and restaurants – including Biscuiteers, Peggy Porschen and Bayley & Sage were also into the festival spirit, coming together to host floral-themed events and transforming their food and drink menus in line with this year's theme.
