On this original tune Kathy Shortt has added her lyrics, melodies and vocals to a composition I recorded back last November with Pete doing drums, Tedd playing bass and lap steel and Brice Cross on electric guitar. At the time Kathy had a backlog of projects already and said it would be a while before she could get to this. In the meantime Melanie Cholie was kind enough to work with the tune and add her lyrics, melodies and vocals which resulted in the song The Stray. Both of these ladies are extremely talented and kind and generous and I am most fortunate and grateful to both of them for sharing their talents with us guys!!
