Canadian Cigar Scene | Roberto P. Duran Cigars Road Trip

January 26, 2016 – From January 20-24 we were guests of Brigham Enterprises at Roberto P. Duran Premium Cigars in Estel, NI. Canadian consumers will be familiar with brands such as Azan or Neya made by the Duran family. Joining us on this show are three of our fellow travellers: Paul Graham from Brigham Enterprises, Curtis Webber from La Tienda Cigars in Edmonton, and Trae Zammit from the Smokin Cigar Toronto. We give our take on the road trip while also spending time discussing the cigar scene in Edmonton and Toronto. This epic road trip is sure to become part of cigar lore amongst those who attended! This show was recorded during the trip and played back during the regular broadcast timeslot. Instead of the luxury of a production studio we made do with a restaurant/bar near our hotel. There is all kinds of background noise: people, cars, trucks, dogs, etc. At one point we had to change locations because a wedding party shows up; another time, there is the sound of a drunken local being ejected from the bar. All is captured in the background of this show. Personally, we like this; it gives you a bit of the flavour of what happens on the streets of Esteli!
