This week on Boss Food we're teaching you how to make your own flavored cooking oils. This is a very versatile recipe that can be used with many combonations of flavors that can be infused. Click here to view our library: http://bit.ly/1o80Xqb ===================== All you need is 500 ml of cooking oils and your choice of fresh herps and spices and your choice of a sous vide machine. This recipe can be done in a slow cooker or over a stove top, however we find the slow and precise extraction of the flavinoids from the herbs is aided by the sous vide machine and give your flavoured cooking oils a punch of flavour that you dont often get to experience. For these recipes we used 4 jalapenos and 4 limes they both are cut up and put in a mason jar with 500 ml of olive oil, the other recipe was 500 ml of olive oil and 20 crushed cloves of garlic , where you are then going to put in a water bath set at 145 F for 3 hours, that will get a huge amount of flavour out of your ingredients.
