Ilinx, simbolo di ribellione ma anche di prigionia, si ritrova rinchiuso nelle Backrooms (per chi ha seguito la lore fino a questo punto), catturato da una setta chiamata Gli Arconti, che governa su un pianeta fittizio chiamato Sophya—nome che dà anche il titolo al secondo singolo dell’Album in arrivo. All’interno di queste Backrooms, Ilinx cercherà una via di fuga, ma MEG (un’intelligenza artificiale con una maschera da gatto, acronimo di Mandatory Existence Guidelines) gli verrà assegnata come guardiana e tenterà di ostacolare il suo piano. Tuttavia, Ilinx—dotato di poteri ancora sconosciuti—riuscirà a corrompere MEG, spingendola dalla sua parte e convincendola a liberarlo e ad aiutarlo nella fuga. Ilinx, a symbol of both rebellion and imprisonment, finds himself trapped in the Backrooms (for those who have followed the lore up to this point), captured by a cult called The Archons, who rule over a fictional planet named Sophya—also the title of the second single from the upcoming EP. Within these Backrooms, Ilinx will try to find a way out, but MEG (an artificial intelligence with a cat mask, acronym for Mandatory Existence Guidelines) is assigned as his warden and will attempt to thwart his plan. However, Ilinx—endowed with still-unknown powers—manages to corrupt MEG, turning her to his side and convincing her to set him free and help him escape. Meanwhile, a demon named Bavel attempts to track them through a pendulum reading, but after losing their trail, erupts into uncontrollable rage. Ilinx and MEG find themselves facing a desolate world, entirely controlled and manipulated, where fiction and reality are constantly ready to blur.
