This became known as the "Longbow radar" which can detect and lock on millimeter wavelength radar transmissions. Using the radar-guided Hellfire anti-tank missile gives the Longbow true, all weather radar attack capability. The AWWS (All Weather Weapons System) of the Longbow made this helicopter one of the most versatile and effective in the world. The prototype Longbow was modified from two AH-64A Apache's, of which this model is an accurate representation.
