Hello viewers! Oh boy, do I have a special treat for you. As a favor for my good friend Adam (Elton Bootlegs), who asked me to upload a 1982 concert (and also in preparation for the upcoming 1982 debate), I am uploading Elton John's COMPLETE gig performed at the Forest National in Brussels, Belgium on May 5, 1982! The order is a little bit mixed up, but I am keeping it this way since that is how the bootleg was compiled when I got it courtesy of the great Gregsynthwizard! The quality is decent and very listenable, the cheering is not too loud, but on one song, the sound goes from stereo to mono (No big deal!) This show was originally uploaded by Ollie (Elton John Bootlegs), but he took it down when he deactivated his account. I am glad I am uploading this, and with a proper description! Among 1982 shows, this gig is one of the finest shows that Elton has performed in this year, his voice is in amazing shape, and unlike most 1982 shows, this show is not too fast in tempo! In my opinion, this gig's tempo is more comparable to the later shows in 1984. Some of this concert's highlights include an awesome performance of Nobody Wins (Elton sings it mostly in English, but sings the 3rd chorus in French!), one of the only live performances of Just Like Belgium, a moving rendition of Song For Guy, a great version of Bennie and the Jets which isn't too fast and has an awesome improv piano solo, a unique version of Crocodile Rock which has a ballad-esque intro, a rare performance of All Quiet On The Western Front, an awesome rare live version of Teacher I Need You, and an especially awesome version of Captain Fantastic!
