BOK returns to take over brooding and feeding of the chick. As she was waiting for WYL to get for the changeover, an adolescent visitor drops in to visit. WYL clacks at the visitor as it attempts to socialize with this couple. After a few minutes, the visitor leaves. WYL will get up for the changeover, & departs and BOK takes over but she does not brood the chick - she stands next to it. Another visitor (or the same one hard to tell) flies in and this time it is interested in Plateau's chick and pulls its fluff in its curiosity. The chick keeps its head down and is scared. After another pulling of its fluff the chick whips its head around to defend itself but then covers it. The visitor will depart and Ranger Sharyn comes over to check and see if everything is ok. It is so she leaves down the hill. BOK will get three more visitors in a short period of time but they are respectful and do not touch the chick. BOK stays with her chick and eventually does brood. BOK did not see the visitors as a threat to her chick so she did not react to them when they came over. Thank you for watching!
