In this style,, autonomy and a sense of independence are core capacities that failed to develop because they were not “allowed” by your caregivers.   Autonomy individuals are kind and openhearted, but they have difficulty setting limits and establishing boundaries. As a result, they feel easily put upon and secretly resentful, particularly in intimate relationships, where they often feel trapped.
