It was claimed that the CVR had only a 30-minute recording capacity instead of the expected two hours, raising questions about how regulatory approval was granted. Experts reportedly stated that a black box can withstand extreme heat up to around 1100°C for a limited time and can survive underwater for weeks. Questions were also raised about the aircraft’s condition, insurance valuation (₹55 crore), and total liability (₹210 crore). Allegations were made that digital evidence must be preserved to prevent document manipulation. There were also claims regarding certification compliance and whether the aircraft met regulatory standards in India. Authorities are yet to issue a detailed clarification on these specific technical claims.
