Two people are reported to have died in Chemelil and several others injured after skirmishes broke out between communities living in the area. The skirmishes followed accusations and counter-accusations over recent cases of cattle rustling involving the two communities. Hundreds of people have subsequently been displaced in the chaos as residents expressed fears for their safety when several houses were burnt down.
