In today’s video we take a closer look at the Kollokium Projekt 01 Variant E2, an experimental and highly distinctive watch from independent Swiss design collective Kollokium. Known for its brutalist design language and unconventional construction, the Projekt 01 stands out immediately thanks to its extraordinary three-dimensional dial architecture. The dial is made using 468 individually hand-applied cylindrical markers, each sandblasted, PVD-coated and filled with luminescent paint. These markers come in multiple heights and diameters, creating a sculptural surface that resembles a pixelated landscape or a classic pin-art board.  The textured grey dial emits a blue Super-LumiNova glow, while the fluorescent yellow hour and minute hands add strong contrast and excellent legibility.  The industrial aesthetic continues with a unique die-cast stainless steel case, intentionally left with a raw texture rather than traditional polished finishing, giving the watch a bold tool-like appearance.  Inside the watch is the Swiss automatic La Joux‑Perret G101 automatic movement, delivering a 68-hour power reserve and running at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
