Magical Lighthouse of Rattray Head - Buchan - Scotland | 4K | DJI Mini 3 Pro

Rattray Head is a beautiful and awe-inspiring part of Scotland. Charming, white lighthouse stands tall, surrounded by the waves of the North Sea, between two enormous beaches of Aberdeenshire: Strathbeg Bay Beach and Rattray Bay Beach. Altogether, they form an 18-mile-long line of soft, golden sand. What is even more impressive is the line of dunes covered with grass behind both beaches. Some of them are over 20 meters high, even higher than the much better-known Forvie Sands dunes. Seen from the air, they look like miniature mountain ranges with ridges and peaks. Additionally, this place is very secluded. Just imagine being the only beachgoer on a 17-mile-long beach. There is a good reason for it, though - the road to the Rattray Head is abysmal - very narrow, quite long, in a very bad condition, with lots of potholes and with passing places very far apart. Great reversing skill is a must 😁. It was not the worst road to the beach I've driven - I think Laggan Beach on the Isle of Mull is on top of this Hall of Shame, but Rattray Head road is easily in the top 5 of this list.
