This is the first of six articles on the used car buying guide for the fifth-generation Ford Mustang. The fifth-generation Ford Mustang debuted in 2005 and was sold until 2014. It's been 17 years since its debut. The final model was already sold eight years ago, but the current sixth-generation model was only officially imported for one year due to Ford's withdrawal from Japan, so the fifth-generation model is still the mainstay of the current Japanese used car market. The fifth-generation Mustang only has two body variations, a coupe (fastback) and a convertible, but the design is quite different before and after the minor change, and there is a wide range of engines. If you include minor differences, there are a total of 10 types of engines (Note: This time, we are excluding the Shelby GT500 and BOSS 302 engines, which were not officially imported). Of course, with so many models, the price difference is also large. In Japan's current used car market, the market price for used fifth-generation Mustangs ranges widely, from as low as 1 million yen to as high as 4 million yen (excluding the Shelby GT500 and Boss 302). Fifth-generation Mustangs vary greatly not only in price, but also in power performance and character, depending on the year and grade. Between the early 4-liter V6 and the later 5-liter V8, there is a difference of more than twice the engine power alone, and the ride feel is completely different. It's hard to believe they are the same car model from the same generation. So in this article, we'll take a look at used fifth-generation Mustangs, providing a brief model guide and explaining the features of each. This is the first instalment, but the schedule for the second and subsequent instalments is as follows: Part 2: 2007 V8 GT Convertible Premium / 2.38 million yen (Vehicle Introduction) Part 3: 2011 V6 Coupe Sport Appearance / 2.78 million yen (Vehicle Introduction) Part 4: 2012 V8 GT Coupe Premium / 2.98 million yen (Vehicle Introduction) Part 5: 2014 V8 GT Coupe Premium / 3.98 million yen (Vehicle Introduction) Part 6: Ford Mustang (2005-2014y) Used Car Buying Guide/Summary ↑We plan to release one every Friday at 7pm. ◾️Interview cooperation ・BUBU Mitsuoka Motors TEL: 0120-17-2290 http://www.bubu.co.jp ・BUBU MITSUOKA Tsukuba Showroom TEL: 029-846-6600 Address: 3-45-7 Gakuen no Mori, Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture https://www.bubu.co.jp/shop/tsukuba/ ◾️Photography: Ozeki Kazunao ◾️Editing and commentary: Tanaka Toru Susumu) ◾️American Car World ・Homepage/https://amesha-world.com ・Facebook/ / ameshaworld.. . ・Instagram/ / amesha_world ・Twitter/ / amesha_world #FordMustang #BUBUTsukuba #AmericanCar #5rhFordMustang #UsedCarBuyingGuide #MustangFifthgeneration
