CHOGM 2024 | Highlights from Day 4

On Day 4 of CHOGM 2024, the Commonwealth’s women leaders gathered to advocate for the health and well-being of all women and girls. Dignitaries at the meeting included the Prime Minister of Samoa, Hon Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa; the Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC; and Her Majesty The Queen. Member countries met to discuss the Commonwealth Ocean Declaration. Expected to be adopted shortly, the Declaration aims to boost financing for a healthy ocean. Elsewhere, youth leaders met with heads of government and senior officials at an intergenerational dialogue.
