In today's video, we're talking about a new #FutureRestore version that adds support for 64-Bit devices with #CheckM8. While experimental and only supports some devices, this is still very good because we're finally using the very powerful CheckM8 exploit which is compatible with iOS 13, iOS 12, iOS 11, etc. for downgrades. There are a few important things you need to have before you can do a proper downgrade on iOS, and we're slowly starting to figure out the pieces so that we can go to whatever iOS version we feel comfortable, not what Apple forces us to use on the device we paid for. At first, you'd need a powerful exploit. We have it - CheckM8 released by axi0mX a few months back. Then we need a proper tool to use it. We have it, and it's today's FutureRestore which is capable to handle downgrades with SHSH2 blobs. Then we need SEP and Baseband, two iOS components to be compatible. This is where we need more work. And finally, we need a way to patch the signature checks during the restore. We already have success on some devices thanks to Linus Henze's script which does that for us. More devices will probably be supported in the future. We're on the right track towards real full downgrades on iOS.
