All of the years, under the moon, go down the stream: music is fire, and I can hear only in dream. This World Poetry Day, join poets Larry Beckett and August Gladstone for a Facebook Live conversation that spans decades. The 90-minute livestream starts Friday, 21 March, at 4:30pm Pacific and concludes at 6:00pm. To watch, come back to this page at the scheduled time. Larry Beckett’s poetry ranges from songs, such as "Song to the Siren"; to blank sonnets, such as those in his book "Songs and Sonnets," to the epic "American Cycle," including "Paul Bunyan," "Wyatt Earp," "Amelia Earhart," and seven other book-length poems. "The Book of Merlin" is a translation of the 6th-century poet, and "Beat Poetry" is a study of the poets and poetry of the fifties San Francisco renaissance. August Gladstone is a 24-year-old writer, poet, and troubadour. An award-winning poet, he’s been published by Pa’Lante!, Lothlorien Poetry Journal, Winged Moon, Vine Leaves Press and many more. As a lyricist, he’s written for members of Supertramp, Crowded House, and Ringo’s All-Stars. August is seeking publication for his debut poetry collection which is represented by 3 Arts Entertainment. 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up?
