At the end of this video is a surprise appearance by a Pileated Woodpecker! I've never seen a Pileated Woodpecker in real life before. When I've been in the woods, I've heard something on different occasions that sounds like a monkey. However, I've never been able to identify what animal was making that sound. Now I know - it's a Pileated Woodpecker! 😄 Some notable moments in this video: At 01:40:35 on the right side of the screen, a male Northern Cardinal starts to chirp and flutter its wings similar to a juvenile bird. Maybe this is a young male Cardinal? At 02:47:47 a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak makes it's first of a few showings in this video. At 04:25:55 a Brown Thrasher stops by. At 05:15:00 a very talkative Eastern Chipmunk starts chatting with us.❤ At 07:02:53 a cautious Raccoon sneaks by. At 08:25:50 a Pileated Woodpecker briefly inspects the stumps!
