Update Oscilloscope Firmware Rigol DHO800 DHO900 Series DHO814 DHO802 - As 8th July 2025

To update the firmware on a Rigol DHO800 or DHO900 series, visit the Rigol website (as shown in our video, download the zip file, may need to register with Rigol which is simple then extract it, and copy the DHO800_DHO900_Update_00.01.04.00.02.GEL file as 8thJuly 2025 or whichever is the newest to a fast USB 3.0 drive i used a 16gb or 32gb thumb drive . Insert the drive into the Rigol’s USB port. Press the Utility icon, check your current firmware version under "About," then press Storage - Upgrade. Select your USB drive and the update file, tick the checkbox, and press OK. Wait for the update to complete. Check if the firmware has updated, restart the device, let it run for 2 minutes, turn it off, wait 1 minute, then turn it back on. The process is now complete.
