Summary: The City of South Euclid is a vibrant and diverse community located approximately 15 miles east of Cleveland. With a central location in the Greater Cleveland area, South Euclid is minutes away from Cleveland’s excellent shopping and cultural districts, as well as easy access to local freeways. Dining & Shopping: Although there are not many restaurants, South Euclid is home to the Oakwood Commons. Oakwood Commons is an environmentally friendly shopping center that offers stores such as Walmart, HomeGoods, and TJ Maxx. Some restaurants that can be found in South Euclid include Sababa Cuisine, Chelo's Restaurant, and Issi’s Place. Parks & Recreation: South Euclid is proud to offer its residents over 60 acres of public parkland. A portion of the Cleveland MetroParks Euclid Creek Reservation can be found in South Euclid. Here visitors enjoy four miles of wooded walking trails, fitness trails, picnic areas, and a sledding hill. There are six additional parks that can be found in beautiful South Euclid. Schools: South Euclid has a shared school system with Lyndhurst- together forming the South Euclid Lyndhurst school district. With a diverse population of approximately 3,500 students, the South Euclid Lyndhurst school district strives to provide a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. South Euclid hosts four of the shared schools- Memorial Junior High School, Greenview Middle School, Adrian Elementary, and Rowland Elementary.
