Gwyneth Paltrow looked effortlessly chic on Thursday while out and about in Los Angeles. The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress donned a baby blue blouse, wide-leg trousers, and a pair of sneakers. The future Mrs Brad Falchuk was accompanied by a tall, blonde gal pal. Paltrow and fiance Falchuk announced their engagement back in January. And in a recent interview with GMA, the Goop founder gushed about the idea of being a bride. 'It's a very happy time,' the Iron Man actress said. 'I've never had a wedding or any of these fun bride things. So I'm really enjoying myself.' She and ex husband Chris Martin eloped in 2003—forgoing all the typical wedding traditions. Gwyneth shares her two children Apple, 13, and Moses, 12, with Martin whom she divorced after 10 years of marriage. During a keynote at PearlxChange in 2015, the Sliding Doors actress talked about her 'marriage' that didn't pan out. 'I am from a tribe of people who stay married,' she explained. 'I don't come from a culture of divorce at all and I absolutely assumed that I would be in a long, successful marriage. It was very difficult for me to come to terms with the fact that I wouldn't be married to the father of my children for the rest of my life.' Paltrow, who has been dating Falchuk since 2014, told PEOPLE why she decided to give marriage another go. 'Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be,' she said. 'I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.'
