Ashley Beaucage started drinking at age 12 and started using at age 13. She liked the feeling of not feeling things that she got while using. After experiencing lots of loss in her life, she realized she couldn't keep doing what she was doing. That was her breaking point. She gave up being a person, a mom, and just didn't want to be herself anymore; because of that, her kids watched their mom, who was alive, die in front of them. Ashley put 110% into using, so she decided to put 110% into her recovery, and that mindset opened up so many more possibilities for her. She now has the best relationship with her daughters, who can't imagine having a life without their mom.
