During testing an antifreeze leak developed while in a high g force curve, got on the tires and sent me into a spin. Luckily there was nothing nearby to crash into and I was able to get back on track and out of the dry grass. As required, I exited the track and headed toward the Marshall. At this point I didn't realize there was anything wrong. While driving to the Marshall it became apparent there were potentially dangerous problems because smoke began to fill the cabin. Then I knew I needed to get to the safety trucks near the grid and get out of the car. My team and the safety trucks responded quickly and met me as I exited the vehicle. Fortunately there was only smoke and no fire or damage. We got lucky!
