Nevus sebaceus (spelled without the O). A "nevus" (from Latin for "birthmark") without melanocytes. Summary: Yellowish hairless plaque on the scalp of kids. Epidermal acanthosis +/- papillomatosis (can mimic seborrheic keratosis or verruca/wart). Large sebaceous glands open directly to skin surface. Apocrine glands often present in underlying dermis.
