Very difficult unusually small hand metal spinning close up and distant views. To gain perspective see the 2nd half of this video, even if jumping. Very difficult also compared to larger spinnings. The spinner almost needs a magnifying glass; check the spinner's view in the second half. You won't see a CNC doing this job. Comments are appreciated. Here you see a very small copper part being spun. It is the top piece of a 2 piece finial used on copper lamps which you can see completed on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Fab.... This is a little spinning the average spinning company won't attempt to make. The detail required is very high in tool design and spinning skill. We were asked if we could make a finial for less cost than a fully machined billet part that cost $70 + each. We were able to manufacture the part for less than 1/3 of that of an equivalent cnc turning by using the spinning process. This video shows the hardest part of the finial to make and the time it takes. Many large parts don't require near the time and skill to make. Hope this adds to the understanding of how spinning is done and the time and skill a small part can take. Spinning is our main operation but we are a fabrication jobshop with full machining, welding, stamping, cnc plasma cutting and batch powder coating processes in house. We are a one stop shop and can make parts or complete finished products. For more on our skills and hoping you contact us sales@fabricorproducts.com, visit our website www.fabricorproducts.com or facebook page. Looking forward to hearing from you and thanks for watching.
