Built as a budget-friendly winch option featuring 8500 lbs. pulling capacity, a three-stage planetary gearbox and 94 feet of steel cable wire, this no frills unit nonetheless has plenty of power to haul your Jeep (or a friend’s) out of the mud. Tough Durable Construction. Featuring a three-stage planetary gear box with a 172.8:1 gear ratio, this Rugged Ridge Winch offers a powerful performance. The 94 feet of 5/16”diameter steel cable includes a latched hook and an automatic load holding brake system. The 12” all weather remote solenoid box can be mounted in multiple positions and stainless steel body screws and can be titled to accommodate most winch bumpers. Stainless steel hardware is used throughout for durability and corrosion resistance, and two off-road lights can also be easily installed with the included light mount roller fairlead.
