Over the summer Panorama expanded the farthest reaches of Outback Ridge (The Monster) to make Wild Thing a top-to-bottom leg-burner. Stuff you should know: It takes about 30 mins to walk to the top of the Monster from the top of Summit chair. Wild Thing (and many others) is accessable only if you climb right to the top Alternatively you can take the Monster Snowcat to the top, it's $20/ride or $15 if you buy a pack of 4 tickets. You have to buy them in advance, not at the cat. Wild Thing closes at 2:30 The run out does have a couple places you'll need to walk to get back to the Taynton Trail to get access back to the village. The first is less than a minute, then the second takes a couple minutes to get back onto Taynton Trail. It's not recommended for snowboarders.
