Megadeth - Made to Kill (Guitar Cover)

I know some people were disappointed by the new Megadeth album but I actually loved it and I think it perfectly sums up everything they’ve done as a band. My favorite songs on the album are definitely the last four, everything from this song to The Last Note. Made to Kill reminds me a lot of the album Endgame which is actually my second favorite Megadeth album after Rust in Peace. Maybe I’ll learn some more songs from this album but we’ll see. Although Megadeth is one of my favorite bands and has been for 8 years already, there’s two main reasons why I don’t cover their songs nearly as much as I’d like to. The first reason is that a lot of their songs are a lot more difficult than some people might realize. The second reason is that Megadeth is a very lead guitar oriented band, and I don’t think too many people are interested in seeing just a plain old rhythm guitar cover of a Megadeth song. So I want to at least play one guitar solo if I’m gonna cover a Megadeth song. The problem is that lead guitar playing is definitely not my strong suit, so it takes a lot more work to commit to learning the song itself and then learning a solo from it. One of these days I really want to start improving my lead playing. And when that happens I’ll probably cover Megadeth songs more often. But for now here’s Made to Kill from the new album.
