We show you the steps required to update the MK808B Google Android TV stick to Android 4.2.2. Some of these techniques may also apply to other Android TV sticks. This video only serves as a starter guide. You assume all risk by doing the firmware update, and we will not be responsible for any damage. If you do not feel comfortable doing the upgrade, please find a computer technician to do it for you. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Only use the firmware for your device as the wrong firmware will damage your device. The firmware for the MK808B is NOT to be used on the MK808. 2. Do not power off the TV stick or interrupt the firmware update process. Use a UPS battery backup if you have unstable power. 3. The MK808B has a pin hole push button on one side and a blue LED on the other. Do NOT stick a paper clip in the LED hole. 4. To trigger firmware update mode, hold the button down with a paper clip and insert the USB cable into the USB port. We observed that the LED does not light up when in firmware update mode. After the upgrade it is recommended that you go to Settings -- Backup & Reset -- Factory data reset and reset the device.
