Ever since their introduction in Expedition in 2002, Supporter cards have played a key role in basically every deck since. Often they’re used to draw or search out cards to supply a player with resources to play the game, but Supporter cards can also have a large variety of other effects that either help the player that uses them, or disrupt their opponent. Supporter cards are powerful Trainer cards that can only be used once per turn. However, just like Pokémon, not all Supporter cards are up to par with the rest that are released alongside them, by either being weaker or worse versions of Supporter cards that already exist, or because their interactions are too hard to pull off to be considered worth playing.
