Mt Jafferau rises fast, and in winter conditions it decides how far you’re allowed to go. In this episode, I climb as high as possible before snow finally brings progress to a halt. Traction fades, temperatures drop, and each corner becomes a question rather than a promise. On a big adventure bike, momentum and judgement matter more than power. I didn’t reach the summit, but I reached the limit the mountain set that day. This ride is about reading conditions, respecting terrain, and knowing when the smartest move is turning around.
