Adventure Lights VIP Strobe helmet mount, Review.

Hey everybody welcome back to another Muddy Review, in this episode, we are checking out the Adventure Lights VIP strobe helmet mount which is a purpose-built mounting solution for the VIP strobe. Now we have already reviewed the Adventure Lights VIP NSW strobe on this channel (    • Adventure Lights VIP IR and Visible markin...   ) and it is a great strobe light that I have used in both Airsoft and on deployment as a US Navy Riverine. In the old days if we wanted to put our VIP strobes on our helmets we had to remove the MOLLE/Belt clips and add adhesive velcro to the bottom of the strobe in order to attach it to the adhesive loop velcro we adhered to our helmets. This was a field expedient way to get our strobes on our lids and now this mount from Adventure Lights gives us a better purpose-built mounting solution that really does make for a great slick package. I paid 31.68$ USD for the mount (non Bezel lock version) and shipping was not a factor as it was a larger order so it won't matter for this video. Now for my non-US viewers, you won't be able to order these strobe lights from the website TNVC as these are ITAR controlled due to their IR capabilities and I can't say for certain but I have seen in the past even mounts like this can be listed as ITAR and not exported. For my tactical professionals, this won't be much of a recommendation but for my MILSIM and Airsoft crowd outside the US, you can find replicas of these strobes and mounts. I will pick up a pair of these for a future video review as a comparison.
