Join me on the drum riser for a look behind the drum kit at a live show. I was really excited when we added this song to the show. After seeing the movie, Oblivion' in 2012, my passion for soaring cinematic synthesiser music was re-awakened - not that it ever rested! At that time, I was experimenting with drum triggers and electronic drums, having converted an acoustic drum kit to an electronic one using homemade internal triggers. The opportunity to add and layer sounds to acoustic drums opened new doors for me, and it's fair to say, that I'm a huge fan and advocate of electronic drumming. I had dreamed of playing songs like this live. Being asked to play drums in a science fiction band was that dream realised! My wife singing her heart out along with me is just breathtaking too.
