The CLK LM was designed and built by Mercedes-Benz in partnership with AMG to compete in the FIA GT Championship. It was a dominant force in the 1998 season, winning every championship event except the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Only five examples of the CLK LM were built by AMG for Mercedes-Benz.
