We stormed it, controlled the noise, respected every corner, and turned a “melee death maze” into a solved problem. The prison wasn’t just a fight — it was proof this run has teeth now. 🛒 Shopping For Trouble: Still Paying Off Echo Creek’s Gun Mall was the turning point. Guns, ammo, mags, attachments — that wasn’t a loot trip, it was a force multiplier. Everything after the mall gets easier because we can choose when to go loud and when to stay quiet. 🧟 Rosewood: Cleared and Checked Off Rosewood is done. Main street, neighborhoods, and now the prison — all checked. What used to feel like a wall is now a checkpoint, and it frees us up to push the campaign forward instead of treading water. ⛽ New Home Base: Rosewood Gas Station Ovo Farms is no longer the base. We moved the hoard. We consolidated. We can’t maintain multiple generator bases across the map without turning the whole run into a fuel-and-maintenance simulator, so the Rosewood gas station is now the nerve center: storage, staging, repairs, refuel planning, and the main “return alive” anchor before we push into the next towns. 🧰 Gear Status: Melee Backbone, Firearms as the Lever We’re not in the caveman era anymore. This is a combined-arms run. 🪓 Crowbars for everyday clearing and durability 🔧 Pipe wrenches for heavy blunt work when we want stamina-efficient kills 🔪 Knives for quiet cleanup and finishing stragglers without ringing the dinner bell 🔫 Firearms are now the mission tool (in-game): 🟦 M9s for quick draws, fast reload cycles, and controlled perimeter work 🟥 Shotguns for crowd control and “delete this group right now” moments (used carefully because noise snowballs fast) 🚫 Rifles are out. Not worth the hassle. This run is M9 + shotgun when it matters. 🎒 Loadouts aren’t “whatever fits” anymore. Now we build them around the objective: quiet tools for travel plus loud tools for decisive fights. ⚡ Power Solved: The Generator Era Is Live We found the generator instruction manual and the generator game is now REAL. ⛽ Fuel runs are strategic, not desperate 🏪 We power what we need, when we need it 🧊 Food storage and base sustainability jump way up 🧰 We stop trying to keep three locations alive at once — one strong base beats three weak ones 🏚 New Chapter: March Ridge Madness March Ridge is the kind of town that looks normal until it starts screaming. Tight streets, clustered houses, and zombie density that punishes overconfidence. This chapter is about doing it the right way: controlled aggression, smart pulls, and hauling out anything that helps us survive the long march. 🧠 The Goal 🧟 Clear March Ridge systematically 📦 Hoard loot like we’re prepping for war 🚚 Strip the town for what matters: ammo, meds, tools, skill books, generators, food, rare finds 🧱 Establish a foothold we can revisit without gambling the run 🧠 The Method: Pull, Collapse, Clean 🚗 Secure an approach route and a safe parking zone (parking lots kill runs) 🧱 Create a fallback pocket before we go deep 🔊 Controlled noise to pull groups into predictable fights 🏠 Block-by-block clearing, no greedy house dives 📦 Loot with intent, then retreat and reset ⚠️ Rules (So We Don’t Throw the Run Away) 🛑 No panic shooting.
