DISCLAIMER: yes, i am aware that there is an ashfur MAP using world burn as well! i didn't know about the MAP's existence until a few days after i first started working on this last year, so i was not inspired by (nor did i copy) the MAP or its concept. i think that there is enough difference between them to not worry about it, but i just wanted to specify it anyways! i wish the host and all the participants of the MAP well, all of the parts ive seen published look amazing!! :DD WORLD BURN is an animatic following an AU (alternative universe) or canon divergence, where instead of Squirrelflight announcing to Ashfur AND the three that they are not her kits, she quietly tells Ashfur, who keeps this to himself until deciding to expose them at the Gathering. The reveal causes havoc, eventually spiraling into Hollyleaf, in a fit of rage, killing Ashfur in front of everyone. (perhaps a little dramatic, but oh fuck it lets have some fun!) i began world burn at the end of may of 2019 and just kind of... forgot about it and got frustrated with my current editing program at the time, so it collected dust in my files until i got sony vegas and felt inspired to finish it!! so if you notice the style shift at 2:57, thats because thats where i picked up sdjkgjksdfg but anyways, for my first animatic, i'm pretty happy with it!! and id really love to do more in the future!! WHO'S WHO? (since its sometimes hard to tell with animatics!) Throughout most of the video, it is mostly Ashfur! Squirrelflight first appears 0:38 and then again at 1:00 Lionblaze and Jayfeather first appear at 1:29, Hollyleaf comes into frame at 1:32 Firestar is featured at 2:08 From 2:19-2:37, in order of appearance: Ashfur, Lionblaze, Ashfur, Jayfeather, Ashfur, Leafpool, Squirreflight Ashfur and Firestar appear during 2:38 Onestar appears at 2:41 Brambleclaw appears at 2:42, he and Squirrelflight are fighting in the background at 2:47 Squirrelflight is at 2:53, Leafpool and Jayfeather appear at 2:55 Crowfeather appears at 3:02, Nightcloud comes into frame, and the scene after features her and Breezepelt Leafpool is crying to Squirreflight at 3:09, Brambleclaw appears right after Jayfeather appears at 3:12, the camera moving to focus on Lionblaze then Hollyleaf Hollyleaf is killing Ashfur at 3:18 PROGRAMS USED paint tool sai sony vegas pro 17 AUDIO USED "World Burn" from the Broadway musical Mean Girls "World Burn Piano Accompaintment" by The Accompanist on YouTube (   • World Burn (Mean Girls) | Piano Accompanim...  )
