The unique evolution of Japanese traditions: An examination of how commercial strategies transformed the day into a gender-specific gifting ritual, involving complex social categories such as Honmei-choco and Giri-choco. Personal reflections on gratitude: Reflecting on my own experiences—from the excitement of school-day exchanges to the profound appreciation for the time and effort my wife invested in baking homemade treats this year.
